Lawndale : Council Sets Agenda Issues

Share

The City Council has directed that its agenda for the second meeting each month be devoted primarily to parking and traffic issues. The council meets the first and third Thursday of each month.

The council also extended a 45-day moratorium on commercial development for another six months. The council originally imposed the moratorium on March 19 to allow the Planning Commission to develop new parking standards. City officials have said inadequate parking contributes to traffic problems.

The commission also will consider changing zoning throughout the city to lower density.
