San Diego
Police arrested a suspect Thursday in the killing of Vincent Herman Littleton IV, who a month ago was shot several times in the upper body and head and left for dead in the backyard of a Southeast San Diego house.
Arrested was Timothy Earl Johnson, 22, of San Diego. Johnson was taken into custody in a house on the same block where the shooting occurred, the 800 block of Toyne Street. Police released few details, except to say that Johnson was arrested without incident.
Littleton, 24, was found dead the night of March 22 after neighbors reported hearing gunshots at 11:42 p.m. Police believe he was shot in a house on Toyne Street and then dragged outside.
Johnson was booked into County Jail on suspicion of murder and was being held in lieu of $200,000 bail.
