A 19-year-old woman who killed four cyclists in a traffic accident near Gilroy was sentenced to 750 hours of community service. Catherine Ann Miller will spend most of that time telling young drivers about the evils of careless driving, court officials said. Miller was driving a four-wheel-drive vehicle last Oct. 5 on a winding highway when she reached for a cassette tape, momentarily taking her eyes off the road, and the car plowed into two couples riding bikes. She was also sentenced to three years’ probation, fined $1,830 and had her driver’s license restricted.
