Anaheim police, summoned to an apartment complex Friday afternoon, reported finding the body of a 61-year-old man, “and we’re treating it as a homicide,” a spokesman said.

Police identified the man as Javad Solhjoo, a resident of Four Oak Apartments, 465 W. Orangewood Ave, whose body was found inside his apartment, No. 156.

Officers said Solhjoo apparently had been dead “for several days.”

They said it appeared he had been killed by “a head injury inflicted by an unknown type of weapon.” An autopsy was scheduled to determine the cause of death.
