Pancho Carter walked away from a frightening crash on the second day of practice for the 71st Indianapolis 500.
Carter’s car skidded 600 feet into a wall and continues skidding another 260 feet before coming to a halt. Carter was taken to a local hospital to be checked for a possible neck injury.
Mario Andretti reached a speed of 213.371 m.p.h., the fastest mark in practice so far.
