Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. today at Gardena High School for former Gardena basketball star Hernell (Jeep) Jackson.
Burial will be at Angelus Abby Memorial Park in Compton for Jackson, the former UTEP player who collapsed and died during a benefit basketball game Saturday at El Paso, reportedly because of cocaine poisoning.
Police arrested a 19-year-old woman on drug charges after a witness signed a statement that said she had supplied cocaine to Jackson the night before he died.
