AND WAIT, THERE’S MORE: Meanwhile, Jon Bon Jovi and Desmond Child are producing a pair of songs, including a remake of “Bang Bang,” for the new Cher album, which is due out this fall. . . . John Hiatt’s new album, due out early next month, is titled “Bring the Family.” The singer’s first single, “Thank You Girl,” will also surface as a video, directed by veteran documentary film maker D. A. Pennebaker (with part of the clip being filmed at McCabe’s). . . . Rosanne Cash’s new album, “King’s Record Shop,” will be out in early June, followed at the end of the month by the new Cruzados album, titled “After Dark.” The Cruzados’ record features guest appearances by the late Paul Butterfield, Don Henley, Pat Benatar, J. D. Souther and the Williams Brothers. . . . And KNAC-FM program director Jimmy Christopher, an eight-year veteran at the station, has resigned to take a programming post at KISS-FM, an album-rock station in San Antonio.
