Aaron Pryor, 31, former junior-welterweight champion, said he has beaten a drug addiction that blemished his undefeated boxing career, and is ready to return to the ring.
During a news conference in Miami Beach, Pryor said he has been clean for four months and wants to fight a top contender, possibly former lightweight champion Livingstone Bramble or junior-welterweight Gene Hatcher, in Miami at the end of July. Pryor has a 36-0 record with 32 knockouts.
