Oklahoma State’s Robin Ventura went 0 for 4 and had his NCAA-record hitting streak halted at 58 games. Ventura broke the 47-game hitting streak record set by Wichita State’s Paul Stephenson in 1981.

Oklahoma State (59-11) plays top-ranked Texas (60-10) tonight, while Stanford (50-17) faces LSU (49-18).
