Bosworth Drafted by Seattle
Seattle today drew the first pick in the NFL’s supplemental draft and selected Brian Bosworth of Oklahoma, despite the All-America linebacker’s assertion he would not play for the Seahawks.
Bosworth wants to play in Los Angeles with the Raiders or Rams, in New York with the Jets or Giants or in Philadelphia with Coach Buddy Ryan. He has promised to sit out the 1987 season and re-enter next year’s college draft rather than play elsewhere. None of the other five eligible players were selected in the supplemental draft.
