Weishan Trails by 3 in NCAA Golf
SAN DIEGO —
UC San Diego golfer Pat Weishan was three strokes behind the leaders Thursday after 36 holes of the NCAA Division I men’s golf championships at Columbus, Ohio.
Weishan qualifed for the tournament by winning the NCAA Division III individual title.
Weishan, a senior, is tied with six golfers at 2-over-par 146 in the 72-hole tournament. Six golfers are tied at 145 and three are at 144.
Oklahoma’s Glen Day and Wake Forest’s Len Mattiace are tied for the lead at 1-under 143.
