Santa Monica : Chamber Has New President
Norma L. Gonzales, a district manager for Southern California Gas Co., has been installed as the new president of the Santa Monica Chamber of Commerce.
Gonzales is the first Latino woman named to the post in the chamber’s 63-year history. She is active in several community organizations, including the California Community Colleges Advisory Committee and the Santa Monica Bay-area chapter of the national Conference of Christians and Jews. She also has worked as a legislative analyst at the utility’s company’s Los Angeles headquarters.
