Alexander L. Popof has joined Govaars & Associates, a Newport Beach money manager for financial institutions and mutual funds, as its chief financial officer and treasurer. He replaced Pam Massey, who resigned for health reasons.
Popof, 32, of Irvine, had been senior vice president for finance at Far West Financial Corp. and its subsidiary, Far West Savings & Loan in Newport Beach.
