Kevin Williams, a Seattle SuperSonics guard, was fined and placed on a year’s probation, while charges against teammate Dale Ellis were dropped in connection with a nightclub alteration in Houston.
Williams, 25, was fined $400 and placed on probation. He had been charged with resisting arrest after he allegedly struck the assistant manager of a nightclub May 3.
If Williams completes 20 hours of community service in Seattle, his record will be cleared. However, revocation of his probation could result in a year in jail.
