Supreme Court Nomination of Judge Robert Bork
So Dershowitz reluctantly admits that Supreme Court nominee Robert Bork followed the letter of the law when he fired special prosecutor Archibald Cox. Dershowitz shows his true liberal colors when he criticizes Bork for actually obeying the law. Dershowitz is so used to a theory of judicial activism whereby judges make up their laws, that he is shocked when a man like Bork actually obeys one. We are still a nation of laws, and obedience to the law should commend Bork to the nation’s highest judicial post, not disqualify him.
