The bar at the Greater Los Angeles Press Club has won a reprieve. The club’s board, which recently put the organization’s property up for sale and announced that bar service was ending Friday, has decided to keep pouring drinks indefinitely, general manager William Snyder said. The club, which is still booking press conferences and banquets, will halt daily food service.
