Fernando R. Gumucio, 52, president of San Francisco-based Del Monte USA, will assume the posts of chairman and CEO during the “transition period” leading up to his retirement at the end of the year, the company said.
A. Ewan Macdonald, senior vice president of marketing, will become president of the food company on Aug. 1.
