That single-gloved fellow isn’t the only one who will be pushing Pepsi this summer. David Bowie and Tina Turner will join Michael Jackson as Pepsi pitchers in a commercial--set to the tune of Bowie’s hit “Modern Love”--to be unveiled Saturday on the music cable station MTV. Not so coincidentally, Pepsi is sponsoring the concert tours of both Turner (to begin Aug. 9 in Maine) and Bowie (starting up July 30 in Philadelphia). The commercial was filmed in Amsterdam and was directed by David Mallett, an award-winning English film maker known for his work in music videos.
