Muscular Dystrophy Dinner Planned Aug. 1
The Muscular Dystrophy Assn.’s third annual John Zimmerman Memorial Dinner Auction will be held Aug. 1 at the Anaheim Hilton and Towers. Funds raised at the dinner go toward Muscular Dystrophy Assn. research and patient-services programs.
Tickets are $65 per seat and $650 per table. The latter includes eight seats and two complementary seats donated back to Marine Corps guests. The fund-raiser is held in memory of John Zimmerman, a 15-year-old Fountain Valley boy who died of Muscular Dystrophy in 1985.
People to be honored this year are Dr. Brian A. Ewald, director of the Orange County Muscular Dystrophy Assn. clinic, and Julie Marie Jones, a muscular dystrophy patient for 13 years. For tickets and more information, call the association office at (714) 634-9583.
