Free Hawaii Coupons With Auto Rentals

Share

Coupons seem to be getting increasing favor for saving travel dollars.

If you’re heading for Hawaii, Budget Rent-A-Car is offering packets that have free coupons to cover admissions to attractions, for meals and local products. More than 100 coupons worth more than $500 cover the four major islands as well as Molokai.

Some examples of the assorted complimentary offerings for car renters are admission to Sea Life park, dinner at Kobe steak house and such products as earrings and macadamia nuts.

The coupon books are distributed through travel agents, who will issue them when renting a car, but you also can get them in Hawaii when renting a Budget car. The packets are offered for any car rented and for any length of time, even one day.

Travel agents also will give referral cards to customers. When validated with an agency stamp, the presentation of these cards will get you a separate gift when picking up your rental car in Hawaii.

To redeem the coupons you will have to show your car-rental agreement.

Comparable coupon booklets are available at Budget rental stations in British Columbia, including Vancouver. You can get a 36-coupon booklet upon renting a Budget car, with the promotion in effect to the end of the year.

The coupons provide two-for-one discounts at some restaurants, plus such sightseeing attractions as the Vancouver aquarium, Grouse Mountain skyride and Capilano suspension bridge. You also can get 50% discounts off regular rates at a number of hotels.

Free child safety seats are also available upon request.
