Lynwood : Vendor License Law Passed
The Lynwood City Council has tentatively approved an ordinance prohibiting “fly-by-night” vendors and establishing regulations for multiple retail businesses operating in a single building.
The council Tuesday voted unanimously for the ordinance requiring all vendors to get a city business license and conduct business from a permanent building address. All vendors must rent or lease space from businesses approved through the city’s conditional-use permit process.
The ordinance becomes effective Sept. 18.
