. . . Army Archerd, we beg to differ. In writing about Philip Dunne’s upcoming star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, the Daily Variety columnist referred to Dunne as the first “writer-writer to be plaqued.” But, in addition to writing “How Green Was My Valley” and “David and Bathsheba,” Dunne produced “Way of a Gaucho” and “Prince of Players” and directed “10 North Frederick,” “Blue Denim” and “Wild in the Country.”

. . . Enough already! Cineplex Odeon is promoting “Withnail and I” with not one, but, two quotes from Roger Ebert. Ebert of “Siskel & Ebert & the Movies” says, “I love this movie! A gem not to be missed.” The Ebert of the Chicago Sun Times (believed to be the same man, only moonlighting) provides the more eloquent “* * * *.”
