Bell Gardens : 13 File for 3 Council Seats
Thirteen candidates will be running in the Nov. 3 election for three Bell Gardens City Council seats, according to nomination papers filed with the city clerk last week.
Councilmen Robert Cunningham, Allen Shelby and Marvin Graves will be running for reelection. Their challengers are Letha Viles, a retired banker; Talt Coldiron, cabinetmaker; Peter Utreras, business owner; Harold Hammer, truck driver; Francis Glenn Rose, fencing contractor; Noreen Bell, business owner; Juan Sanchez, property manager; Randy Safford, student; William C. Vela, legal affairs director, and Hank Ramey, a City Hall critic.
