Huntington Park : Trial of 2 Officers Put Off
The trial of two former Huntington Park police officers, who are accused of torturing a juvenile with a stun gun during questioning, has been postponed until Oct. 23.
Superior Court Judge Michael Berg postponed the trial of William J. Lustig and Robert Rodriguez to allow the defense more time to prepare, Deputy Dist. Atty. Jim Koller said. The trial was to have started Monday.
Lustig and Rodriguez are charged with felony assault for allegedly using a stun gun on a 17-year-old boy they arrested and were questioning Nov. 30.
