An angry gas station customer plowed his car into the station mini-mart after the attendant refused to open the shop and sell the man a snack, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department reported. “The guy was just hungry and wouldn’t take no for an answer,” said Sheriff’s Sgt. Gary Thornton. William Richardson, 46, filled his tank at a Baldwin Hills Shell station at 12:30 a.m., paid for the gas and demanded the attendant open the mini-mart, authorities said. The attendant refused and told Richardson to go down the street for a snack. Investigators said Richardson slammed his car into reverse, rammed into the mini-mart, stole the cash register and headed for the nearby 7-11. Sheriff’s deputies arrested Richardson at the 7-11.
