Fullerton : Administrator Named at Cal State Fullerton

William Glover, who for the past seven years has been vice president for operations at New Jersey Institute of Technology, is the new associate vice president for administration at Cal State Fullerton, the university announced Tuesday.

University President Jewel Plummer Cobb said Glover’s appointment is effective Sept. 14. His selection culminates a national search that attracted 78 candidates, she said.

Glover will report to university Vice President Sal Rinella and will be responsible for supervising campus services, including parking, purchasing, property accounting, mail, shipping and receiving, and telephone services.

The position at Fullerton was created in 1985 and has been filled on an acting basis by Ginny L. Scheel, a professor of physical education.

Before joining the New Jersey Institute of Technology, Glover was business manager of Fairleigh Dickinson University in Pennsylvania for three years. He also has worked as an administrator with the New Jersey Department of Higher Education’s Educational Opportunity Fund.
