Wealthy electrical engineer Peter Pilaski, 53, was ordered by a federal magistrate in San Francisco to be held without bail on a charge of overseeing construction of a booby-trapped flower bouquet delivered to his estranged wife by his alleged homosexual lover. Melanie Pilaski and a federal building co-worker were injured. Pilaski also is accused of making and possessing the bomb, causing damage to federal property with injury, conspiracy and lying to investigators.
