WEEKEND TV : KCOP TO AIR BOWL FIREWORKS FINALE

KCOP Channel 13 will be delivering a live concert from the Hollywood Bowl tonight at 8:30 p.m., with guest conductor Hugo Wolff leading the Los Angeles Philharmonic in music by Tchaikovsky, Rossini, Copland and Handel. It’s the Bowl’s annual Fireworks Finale program, and the concert will be simulcast on KFAC-FM (92.3). Alex Trebek will host the telecast.

KHJ-TV Channel 9 will be the host station Sunday for Chabad’s sixth annual “L’Chaim! To Life” telethon, airing from 5 p.m.-midnight. Jan Murray will host the telethon that benefits the nonsectarian social service and educational projects of Chabad of California.
