Pam Shriver, Lori McNeil, Zina Garrison, Robin White and Gigi Fernandez will represent the United States against Great Britain in the 58th Wightman Cup Oct. 29-31, the U.S. Tennis Assn. announced.
McNeil, ranked 14th in the world in 1986, was a surprise semifinalist in the U.S. Open, upsetting Chris Evert before losing to top-seeded Steffi Graf.
The United States has an eight-year winning streak and leads the series, 48-10.
