The Washington Redskins came to contract terms...
The Washington Redskins came to contract terms with quarterback Babe Laufenberg and kicker Ali Haji-Sheikh and announced that running back George Rogers would be out for at least four weeks with a sprained shoulder.
Laufenberg will back up Doug Williams, who replaced an injured Jay Schroeder Sunday in Washington’s 34-24 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles.
Redskin Coach Joe Gibbs said Schroeder, who threw for 4,109 yards last year, will probably miss four weeks because of the sprained shoulder he suffered on a first-quarter tackle by All-Pro Reggie White.
