Dedication in Westlake for Halfway House
Bet-T’shuvah for Jews, a halfway house for Jewish ex-inmates making the transition to freedom, will be dedicated at a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 3 p.m. Oct. 4 at 216 S. Lake St. in the Westlake district.
The halfway house, a project of Gateways Hospital’s Jewish Committee for Personal Service, will offer food, shelter, clothing, job placement and psychological referrals as well as activities emphasizing Jewish awareness. Information: (213) 413-3321.
