‘Making It Tough for Peace’
I have written several letters over the past few years to Sen. Pete Wilson (R-Calif.) concerning our involvement in Central America.
In response to each of these letters over the span of time, I have received the same answer that, “this has been the most gut-wrenching” situation that he has dealt with since becoming a senator.
Perhaps Wilson should take some Alka-Seltzer to relieve his “gut,” start using his brain, and get us out of Central America and vote no to contra aid.
