Tacoma Scores Three Late Goals to Defeat Sockers at Salt Lake

SALT LAKE CITY — The Tacoma Stars scored three goals late in the fourth quarter Monday night to defeat the Sockers, 4-2, in an exhibition Major Indoor Soccer League game in the Salt Palace.
The score was tied 1-1 after three periods, but, with less than seven minutes left, Stars’ midfielder Ricky Davis scored Tacoma’s go-ahead goal off an assist from Steve Zungul.
