Los Angeles Students Speak Out on the Year-Round School Plan
I firmly oppose the idea of year-round schools because it will upset vacation plans. I mostly go camping. Many campgrounds are too cold to camp on except in the summer. Many national parks are closed except in the summertime.
The period of vacation away from school may not be long enough. My family and I take long trips sometimes. This would not be possible during year-round school. This is just one of many reasons why I am opposed to a year-round school system.
