Los Angeles Students Speak Out on the Year-Round School Plan
I am one of many who firmly oppose the idea of the Los Angeles Unified School District’s year-round schedule.
Year-round schools will raise the percentage of truancy. Students that are supposed to be in school could easily “ditch,” since truant officers would assume they were off track, but in reality they were not.
