Antiqua rallied from 10th in a field of 14 to win the $250,000 Laurel Futurity, and Minstrel’s Lassie came from eighth and last to win the $250,000 Selima Stakes as French invaders swept the International Turf Festival at Laurel, Md.
Both 2-year-old races, at 1 1-16 miles, were run on grass.
Antiqua paid $10.20, $6.80, and $4 in winning the Futurity by 1 1/2 lengths. Mister Modesty returned $12.60 and $7.40, and Kohen with a K paid $4.20.
