Local News in Brief : Slain Man Is Found in Canoga Park Shed
Los Angeles police are investigating the death of a Canoga Park man found beaten to death in a garage where he lived.
Detective Pat Conmay said the 45-year-old victim was found by a friend about 9:30 p.m. Tuesday in a garage behind a home in the 21000 block of Gault Street. Police declined to identify the dead man Wednesday because his next of kin had not been notified.
Conmay said the man died from a blow to the head. Police knew no motive in the killing and had identified no suspect, he said.
