Conrad
In response to Joseph Gleiberman’s unfair criticism of Paul Conrad’s Reagan cartoons (Letters, Nov. 6):
Conrad realized--long ago--that only the already-rich and already-powerful would derive benefits from placing “Bonzo’s Bed-Fellow” in the White House . . . just as was the case when voters, (hero worshipers) put him in the governor’s chair in California.
I, too, am a loyal Times reader and admirer of Conrad. I hereby nominate Conrad for educator of the year, and eternal educator of hero-worshiping voters.
