Rock Criticism
Is the current state of Rock Criticism so pathetic that Craig Lee has to misquote the Sex Pistols in order to bash Gene Loves Jezebel (Record Rack, Nov. 15)?
The idea of two anorexic identical twins wearing Stevie Nicks’ throwaways is more than enough reason to trash this devil-worshipping band.
Johnny Rotten sang (shouted) “I don’t know what I want, but I know how to get it.” This lyric is very much different from Gene Loves Jezebel’s “I know what I want, and I know how to get it.” The Sex Pistols and your readers deserve better, and we want to get it.
