It’s Still Only Rock ‘n’ Roll
Forget trying to “Redefine Rock.” How about junking your narrow-minded format?
For starters, Calendar could review a few current and interesting jazz albums, e.g., Pocket Change, Fents, to name only two.
This would be more informative than your usual jazz reviews of fossilized cadavers reissued on CD or whatever.
I would be only too happy to supply you with the names of some promising new jazz artists (yes they even have albums out). But first you’ll have to shoot all your present critics, starting with you know who (the Boss’ No. 1 press agent).
