Warning Light Prompts Jet’s Emergency Landing

MONROE, La. —
A Delta Air Lines DC-9 made an unscheduled emergency landing at Monroe Regional Airport Saturday night after a warning light went on in the cockpit, authorities said. None of the 43 people aboard Flight 592 from Shreveport, La., to Birmingham, Ala., were injured, a Delta spokesman said in Atlanta.
