- Two works by local artists are up for adoption under the auspices of the County Public Arts Advisory Council. Roberto Salas’ painting “San Diego Under Conestruction” will be destroyed unless support is found for its removal from an F Street gas station site scheduled for demolition. Leslie Nemour hopes to donate her painting, “Center of the Universe,” to an interested facility that serves children. The painting was completed through a grant from the Public Arts Advisory Council.
