The Avalon City Council, acting as the Community Improvement Agency, approved a $60,000 contract to reimburse the city for labor and materials for reconstruction and repaving of part of Crescent Avenue, a waterfront walkway closed to vehicle traffic. The work is expected to be done before next summer.
