Brothers’ Fight Over Dirty Laundry Ends in Fatal Shooting
An argument over dirty laundry Monday ended in the shooting death of a Lynwood man, Larry Walton, 25, and the arrest of his brother, Kevin Walton, 23, on suspicion of murder.
During the 9 a.m. argument, Kevin Walton grabbed a .22-caliber rifle and shot his brother in the stomach, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputy Detta Roberts said. Larry Walton died at 3 p.m. at Martin Luther King Jr. Hospital.
Kevin Walton was being held at the Lynwood sheriff’s station.
