“Seeing Things,” a television series about a psychic newspaper reporter who solves mysteries, and “Night Heat,” about big-city detectives on the night shift (seen in the U.S. on CBS), were major winners this week at Canada’s annual “Gemini” TV awards. “Night Heat” won awards for best dramatic series, supporting actor and writer. “Seeing Things” won awards for best comedy series and best comedy actor. The late Lorne Greene, famous for his “Voice of Canada” radio news broadcasts prior to his stint on “Bonanza,” was given a special award for life achievement.
