It’s a Ford!

Before starting a third Indiana Jones adventure in late 1988, Harrison Ford will slip into a well-pressed business suit for some romantic comedy.

He goes before the cameras in February as a media consultant in an investment banking outfit who falls head over heals for a Wall Street office secretary--who’s posing as her own boss--played by Melanie Griffith. They’re in director Mike Nichols’ “Working Girl,” scripted by Kevin Wade.

“It’s not broad, Chevy Chase material but the kind of subtle, character comedy they used to make in the ‘30s and ‘40s,” said a production insider, who called it “Cary Grant territory” for the actor.
