Bail was reduced Tuesday to $150,000 from $750,000 for a La Jolla antique shop owner accused of 20 counts of fraud.

Sonia Foght, who has seven aliases, is the owner of Shangri La on Prospect Avenue. She has also given her name as Sonia Bonge and Daniella de Villenueve.

Superior Court Judge J. Richard Haden reduced bail despite the prosecutor’s objections.

Foght, who has pleaded not guilty to defrauding investors in her business, has been in jail since her arrest Sept. 28. She had been living in Del Mar.

Two counts of grand theft and forgery deal with certificates of antiquity in which she claimed furniture was from the King Louis XV period.

Deputy District Attorney John Massucco said Foght also sold non-existent land in Spain to a Vista man.

Other counts include false personation and corporation code violations.

Foght has given three birthdates to authorities, with the ages ranging from 48 to 64.

“If she gets out (of jail), she’s gone,” said Massucco, who called Foght a flight risk.

Her trial is set for March 2.
