San Clemente : Coast Highway Section Closed for Slide Cleanup
A small mud slide Sunday on the Pacific Coast Highway prompted city officials to close a one-mile stretch of the road while city crews cleaned it up.
The highway was closed for about an hour and a half after “a little bit of mud” fell between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m., said city police dispatcher Stephanie Oliver. She said the highway was closed between Camino Capistrano and Deschecha. No damage was reported.
