Bo Jackson, Playing a Little, Got a Lot
Hobby? No way. Robbery? The Raiders shell out $1 million plus for Bo Jackson to play 8 or 9 football games. Bo contributes in three games, stars in three games, turns and ankle, and nurses his injury, preparing for the next game. Football game? No, baseball.
I hope Bo hits .325 with 45 homers and 125 RBIs. Baseball deserves Bo; the Raiders deserve better. Bo epitomizes the “new” Raiders; loads of talent and flare, but no commitment to excellence.
Next year, don’t tease us Bo. Go hunting or fishing instead.
