Orange County Life today introduces High Life, a weekly selection of news and views written by, for and about high school students. Each Saturday, more than 70 student correspondents from throughout Orange County will report on what’s hot, hip and happening on the high school scene. And a weekly “Hot Topic” will present school and student views on issues important to teen-age readers.

Today’s cover story on triplets Monica, Leanna and Joy Creel was written by one of High Life’s teen correspondents, Jennifer Moulton, a senior at Sunny Hills High School, Fullerton. High Life continues on pages 6, 7 and 8 with a Soviet teen-ager’s diary of her week in the county and takes a look at Safe Rides, student-operated services designed to keep intoxicated teen-agers off the road.

High Life will be edited and coordinated by Times staffer Robert Rohwer, former journalism teacher at University High School, Irvine, and adviser to the award-winning student publication Sword and Shield.
